Wanna learn a language ? Try this way

As i am developing products( did i tell you that i work in aproduct development concern? ;-)) in java. i thought that i ought to learn more because of the vast apis and difference in working based on performance and other measures.so what i thought is it will be good enough if i use the technique of lean and implement so i thought lemme develop a project for myself so that i could learn . The project which i start neared its completion and event then i dont got the satisfaction that i learnt a good amount . So, i thought that i should redesign the same in a different manner .as i am working in product development i thought it will be wise to do framework development along with the requirement for my project so , that i could learn. Now i feel like i am learning a lot cause the framework needs you to know a lot of things.so guys if you wanna learn something (some language ) start something like this so you can know most of the things.

i am not going to post about birds its abt firebird and jaybird and java
Yesterday a friend of mine asked me about firebird and java(okay i asked him to help me with a file to work with that ).i was checking how to work with java & firebird(hmm the truth is firebird license is free for commercial use even ;-) ).so now i was checking firebird and java.firebird can be considered as one of the Good options for product development.I am sure most of the guys will not have heard about firebird?rite.yep okay firebird is an RDBMS available and its open source and guys believe it or not it has a vast community(firebird home page is: www.firebirdsql.org) and the firebird comes in two flavors CS(Classic) and SS(Super Saver) they both have their own advantageous and disadvantages and you should select one of them based on your needs and to get this connected with java you need to get driver for firebird called as jaybird(can be downloaded from www.firebirdsql.org/index.php?op=files&id=jaybird ).Its true that jaybird is not that mature but we can use it.so if guys wanna know how to connect and work with it just mail me at aravind_r1@rediffmail.com

Blogging again

It has been a long time i am back(although this is my first blog ;-) )
So Now i planned to post here regularliy.
but, i dont think it will be like the way i like to write dairy.
cause , every time i like to start writing a dairy (for myself ofcourse).i start it by saying i will be regular from thatday onwards.but from the next day i am regular to be irregular.
is that my way or all like that.
okay from now i plan to post blogs daily.if i post pls bear with me else even pls bear with me
